Today at Let’s talk iPhone event, Apple announced and demoed a new app named Siri on iPhone 4S, which can be called as Voice Intelligence Assistant. Yes, now iPhone users are having an assistant to talk as well. You send a command or ask question using your voice and Siri will perform that task for you. For example, you can say “Reply, I will catch you later”. Now Siri will type this text message and send that to the person whom you are replying to. Another example, you can say “Set a 20 minutes reminder” and it will set for you.

To send a new text message, just say “Text John, I will be late”. Siri will type that message for your and ask for confirmation before sending the same. Say, SEND to send that text to John from your contact list.

Wi-Fi or 3G connection is required to work with Siri as it can also perform search on WolframeAlfa and many more sites for you.
